After soaking the two strips for 15 minutes in water, they are taped to the foam guide, thin CA applied, and heated in a microwave oven for 12 seconds. Once removed, they retain the shape of the guide, and are pinned to the plans.

Those tyres look awfully large - a hint of things to come with this model I think! Note the extra stiffner above the firewall, in front of the first former, as advised by Mr Tritle.

Undercarriage bent, and soldered together. First time I've soldered like that. Found out that you have to sand the wire with light sand-paper before it will accept the solder!
