The only reason for cloth hinges is strength. If you don't plan to fly it, don't use them cause without all the support shown here they will flop. |

Cloth hinges. The piece of cloth is glued on top of one piece and the bottom of the other. |

For Doodle- use hinges. This is the method Guillows uses and it's common for all their kits. A different method is used if the control surfaces are to be functional, that is for a flying model. |
