I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Ready to fly, except for the motor. Can any experts tell me what kind of rubber motor I should buy for it? I have a Guillows 500 series blue rubber band at the moment, which seems heavy. What length / and weight (?) rubber would suit this little 12", 10g flyer? How many turns should it be wound with? Thanks!

The engine is now installed. Now need to detail a little bit. Of course it'll all be knocked off on the first test flight, so I won't be spending too much time on it! No John O engine here (even if I had the skills)!

Tiny cylinder block / heads for the 30hp VW engine. These will be wound with thread to give the appearance of the cooling fins.

OK, I've got my building board setup again, I'm going to finish this little guy off first. Basically covered now, but needs lots of finishing off, and detailing. Then, hopefully, to fly using rubber power. That's the plan...

The magnetic building board is useful for aligning these types of fuselage. The slab sides have 1/16 sq reinforcements glued on the inside.

This laser cut peck polymers kit seems to be very nicely done. I'm hoping this should be a good rubber flyer.
