Beautiful, Moost. What are the red lines over the radiators (?) inboard of the engines? Are those just no-walk markings? |

Yes, absolutely fantastic! |

Thanks boys. James, just about every Mossie researched showed this area "X'ed" off, but I couldn't find the reason. Steve, I know this bird is in your hangar, and other than the plastic at the rear fuselage, it went together beautifully and was an absolute pleasure to build. Too bad it's still not produced. |

I keep thinking I will build this next but DD put the bar so high I could barely see it then you had to kick it way out of site. I need to practice on other models before I tackle this one. And when I do I will be duplicating all of the plastics parts and will keep the wood and plans and decals intact. Of course once I have the molds for the plastic parts made it would be a fairly simple thing to suck out a few extra parts for an R/C version and/or to send to other modelers. |

Beautiful job! It looks like it should. Maybe Guillow will bring out a Mosquito in their 8000 series RC ARFs in the fall to go along with their P-38. (Unfortunately, they are foamies.) The no step areas on the top of the wing are the removable, metal skinned access panels above the radiators that could be easily dented by walking on them. |

Thanks, Howard. What's this about 8000 series RC ARF's? |
SteveM | 16-Jun-08 21:44 |
See the Guillow's forum thread regarding the ARFs. |

Thanks, Steve. They don't look too exciting to me. I was hoping for some balsa r/c models! |

There was some scuttlebutt about reworking some of the 300 series models into super-scale, park fliers, something like the Dumas electrics. I'll see if my contacts have any more word on that project. |
