Been away for a while and missed this. I'm a darker shade of green with envy Nigel. Done some searching and the following links are some top quality Youtube video and sound of this event. I hope no one else has posted this. Each part is about 6min in length. A must watch for those of us unlucky enough not to attend. A belated thanks to you Nigel for posting the awesome pics. http://youtu.be/i7NDro0eU74 - http://youtu.be/aEwUKnFw1GA - http://youtu.be/Z7MyPLnk1vw

Had cataract surgery on Monday. Wow!...The colors!

I visited the web site. What these guys are doing is really quite amazing. I find it mildly amusing, however, that aircraft that were designed when aeronautical engineering was still mostly cut and try are being built by a company using a procedure manual that meet ISO standards

I am glad to hear about your successful surgery. I shall have my "Cadillacs" operated on in September and I am "LOOKING" forward to being able to see what I am building!!!

What's not apparent until you've had one eye done is that you have been looking at the world through a gradually darkening yellow filter. That explains the colors that I have been putting on my models for the past few years. Now, I can close my right eye and see things the way I was seeing them, then open my right eye and close the left one and the world looks like it has been washed in Oxydol. Increases the appreciation of something like the Albatros.
