Great picture David. This beauty flies from my local airport and I've been lucky enough to get an inside view on a couple of occasions. I have managed to secure some plans to make a model of it with a 36" wingspan.

My first ever flight was in (a series 19 version) of one of these at RAF Kenley UK! 1955 Will never forget that trip.

Might have to redo the interior detailing after uploading pics of it on the Va then :)

Hi Skye'D - I was a spotty 14 year old in the ATC (A cadet force for the RAF. Also had a magic flight in a Gloster Meteor mark 7 - stunning for an air-minded lad!

Sky! I just dug out mt ATC flying log-book, the Anson was RAF #244 and the date Oct 20th 1957 - doubt that she is still around, but I will look through those pics that David linked to us.
