Superb work by a master craftsman - certainly sets the bar height for the rest of us mortals !

It's really the detail and artistic flourishes that set it apart for me, esp the great paint scheme...really,really awesome Mr.O

John, that's some great work. The floats came out great. My only problem is that you can't see all that wonderful detail on the engine. How about an open cowling, and make it a ground display model? :) You new aircraft is setup, by the way.

James, thanks for listing the new build. I gave some thought to the engine W/O a cowl. I have enough radials displayed in the museum and I did not make everything on this engine. I cheated and used Williams Bros. cylinders so no need to show their work off. I think the nose with cowl sets the plane off.

Thanks for all of the kind words. Time to clean the shop and start a P-47!

Real nice, O-man. I'll be waiting for pictures of the Jug. Can't really find the time to build, so an occasional peak at the VA can be just what the doctor ordered. Everybody keep up the great work.
