David Duckett 27-Oct-09 17:44 I usually sand after the first coat with 400 garnet paper and then also if any spots show up in the painting process. After a couple of coats acrylic is fairly tough but it also smooths out with additional coats so sanding after each one isn't necessary but with a light touch it can be done.
