Would be nice to see it taking off on a zero wind morning, from a runway! thewonderfrog 14-May-09 09:04 If you notice the wind pushes me off course and I came within a few inches of hitting the no parking sign. the rudder doesn't have too much ground authority unless you give er the onion. The park 250 motor that is in there now is way too much power, you can see me give it about 3/4 throttle at 1:27 and you see the plane torque over until I go back to 1/3. Next one I am going to try the park 180. in its defense it does climb like a kitten on your leg, I approximate it can climb out at about 30 feet per second if I got it all the way. It does not like grass at all, the small landing gear just snags each grass blade, you can see this on the cartwheel landing..no damage done. hjlittman 14-May-09 11:35 Maybe it looks bad because of the resolution of the video, but did you have any trouble keeping track of a white and blue airplane against a cloudy sky?
