Looking really nice David.

Very nice finish on this!

Thanks! This one, like the Musketeer and the DO 335, has an uncovered fuselage, just wood and paint. Well....wood, filler, dope, and then acrylic paint.

Beautiful color scheme.

Outstanding!

That paint is so understated, yet very elegant. I'd of had to do way more, and would have realized far less. Way ta be, Dave!

I don't believe in "pimping the Piper". Simple is often the most effective, an idea embraced by "better" stores which feature only one or two items in their windows compared to discount stores which put everything they sell in the windows. Having a box full of paints doesn't mean each one has to be used.

Really clean looking, David. Did you paint the numbers? (Note that I did not ask do you paint by numbers.)

These are kit decals. Paint by number is an excellent way to learn to paint models because it teaches you how to use a brush. The paint is also fairly easy to work with and getting it smooth on canvas will make doing it on wood much easier. And, paint by number sets generally use acrylics these days, not the oil paint of my youth.
