70 years later....these are the landing gear pieces made by Ted Richards. Work on the model will resume in about a month.

WOW DD, Ted has come through once again. With the combined work between the two pro's, I can't wait until this baby rolls out on the flight line!!!

what a shooting star!

These all came with the canopies awhile back....

Very precise craftsmanship. Ted's work is amazing!!

I will second that.

Cataract surgery for the right eye is scheduled for next Wednesday. Guess it will be a bit longer before I get back to this.

David - you and I both seem to have enough medical stuff over the last year or so! My next door neighbour said "It is too many birthdays"
rgood14-Jan-14 18:39
:)

Fortunately this is painless. The vision in my left eye is so much better than before that it would be foolish not to get the other one fixed. The right eye is like looking through a sunglass lens and everything has a yellowish tint. It makes mixing colors a real bitch so I'll be glad to get it done.

Definitely too many birthdays!!:-)

Good luck with the eye surgery.
frwyflyer15-Jan-14 05:21
Good Luck and by all means get it fixed.
BriandKilby15-Jan-14 08:46
hope everything goes well, david.

Best of luck with the surgery.

As you already know, the eye drops are the biggest pain...but the binocular true color vision is fantastic. Mine is 20/20 for distance but close up leaves a lot to be desired😃
David Duckett16-Jan-14 04:41
Neither the drops nor the regimen of doing them bother me. You are correct about the vision improvement and limitations for close sight. New glasses will be on order once both eyes see the same color.
