The plans I used were by Jerry Behrens Plans. They were scaled for a much larger RC model than I wanted to build. A good example is the wheel size. The plans call for 6" diameter wheels and the size I'm using is only 1-3/4" diameter. I had a local reprographics company scale the plans to fit the Continental R670 engine from the Guillows PT-17 kit as the WACO UPF-7 uses the same engine. Lots of adjustments were made to allow for the working controls but the plans gave me an accurate starting point. Please sign in to comment on this image.
