![](/user_aircraft_images/19719.jpg) Took a break from the building board and other household chores, and grabbed a handful of swingers and headed out to the local flying field ;-) |

![](/user_aircraft_images/19240.jpg) (This shoud have been posted about 3 posts back.) Since the new pod and tail worked so well on the 9 inch wing, we decided to apply it to the 11 inch wing. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/19239.jpg) It flys well, and this is the story of how the Jr. Cloudbuster came to fly with a 11 inch wing. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/19238.jpg) The 11 inch wing with new fuse and tail. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/19236.jpg) The tiny flyer in its new configuration flys well. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19235 | 12 Sep 10 02:00 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19235.jpg) A couple of weeks ago, we gave the tiny flyer a new fuselage and wing and tail mounts. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/19234.jpg) The tiny flyer flys well with the 9 inch wing. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19233 | 12 Sep 10 01:57 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19233.jpg) So we added upturned wing panels to the modified BB horizontal tail and came up with a 9 inch wing which we attached to the tiny flyer. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/19232.jpg) About the time that we putting the V-tail on the modified BB, we were tinkering with this little flyer. About 8 inch wingspan. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19231 | 12 Sep 10 01:18 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19231.jpg) After breaking the booms several times, they were replaced with a single dowel boom and a V-tail. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19230 | 12 Sep 10 01:14 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19230.jpg) The 1/8 by 3/8 balsa booms were a weak point. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19229 | 12 Sep 10 01:10 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19229.jpg) and flown often. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19228 | 12 Sep 10 01:08 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19228.jpg) The model was a fine flyer |
simpleflyer, Image # 19227 | 12 Sep 10 01:07 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19227.jpg) Ready to fly. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19223 | 11 Sep 10 23:42 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19223.jpg) With the 11 inch wing the model flys well but needs more speed to maintain the same altitude. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19222 | 11 Sep 10 23:41 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19222.jpg) As we experiment with the collapsible models, we're designing some commonality among the models. Here the Jr.Cloud Buster can accomodate the wings of 11 and 14 inches. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19221 | 11 Sep 10 23:39 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19221.jpg) Flys well low and slow. |
simpleflyer, Image # 19220 | 11 Sep 10 23:38 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/19220.jpg) Another test flight with the Jr. Cloud Buster |

I usally use bolts nuts to balance a air craft too! When setting up for taethering do you want the model to be balanced out or do you need a little nose weight for forward movement? Thanks |
