Another topic on the Guillows forum is how to attach the plastic nose piece to the balsa frame on Guillows kits. The reason I bring this up is two fold. The person said they had perused this site so why not use this site for an answer? The guillows forum has become basically a blog for free flight with display models being ugly children. This site has always leaned more towards display than flying models although all models, ALL models, are welcomed on this site. The second reason is this: This site has hundreds of members but only a handful contribute to it. Why is that? |

And you're right, there is a two seater - never knew they even existed. |

Look on the right side, third bird from the top. The number on the cheek and tail are the exact same as the ones in the Guillows 500 series P-40 kit. 10B on the cowl and 324380 on the tail. I laughed out loud when I saw that. I showed my wife and she just gave me this blank stare. Oh well. |

I suppose you are referring to the 2 seat version. |

Jedi:Is this what you want? It's a piece of plastic with a bent wire inside. The space inside the plastic is filled with scrap wood and glued. The bands on the plastic piece are masking tape. Send me the dimensions and I'll make them for you. |

the somewhat unnatural new home of class American fighters. We're just petrol heads - the bigger the engine the more we like it. |

I believe I have the same book David. You have any pics of Billy Drakes P-40? I believe the tail code for his plane was GA-? |
