edbecky, Image # 41475 | 27 Oct 19 09:02 | Latest on Cessna. I did get distracted once again by scratch build of Kinner Envoy in the foreground. Plans from Airplane News, Oct 1935. James if you see this please add this in scratch build planes so I can post build. |

edbecky, Image # 41422 | 08 Oct 19 11:07 | Fitting wing to canopy. |
edbecky, Image # 41419 | 03 Oct 19 16:51 | Started on wing since that's where the missing parts were. Made MS1 and 2, E1 and 2, leading edges and a couple of ribs. Spacing of ribs was the first problem but I think I got it. Wing fits canopy well and looks pretty good. It's going to be another fun build. |
edbecky, Comment for image # 41413 | 01 Oct 19 12:13 | OK, I acquired this kit for next to nothing. Missing a few balsa wing parts that I was able to fabricate from the balsa sheets in the box. I have the instructions but no building plan to get the finer details. I know, who doesn't love a challenge. I was able to figure out most of what I need to know from photos on this site and on line and will build this kit next. If anyone would post a photo of the building plan (mostly the wire bends) I'd really appreciate it. Yes I am cheap, but doing it this way is part of the fun. Thanks |
