I wouldn't have realised the illusion in evidence here had you not pointed it out, but it is very interesting. It's a very nice photo of a very nice model! |

Putting it as tactfully as I can, most modelers on this site have more interest in building than photography. |

isn't this an interesting shot? notice the perspective on the wing; from this perspective it looks oddly like a constant chord, though, in reality, it tapers dramatically! welcome to art class 101! this site takes me beyond "model-building" in so many ways. thanks all very much |

Thanks, but no chance as I only deal in bipes from WW1 era. |

Thanks guys! If the "divine wind" cooperates I will try to launch in a roughly northeast direction, if it flies really really well you are welcome to take a few shots at it John! :) |

covering is generic tissue, not esaki/japanese. I still ended up with a slight twist in the horizontal stab. Thanks Dale and Meku. |

Beautiful all photos. |

neat feature is the keyed and removable nose block. this is an adjustable thrust bearing from A2Z/peck-- the kit item is from Guillows. |

Dumas makes a nice kit. Nice vacu-formed parts and laser cut balsa. I diverged from the kit by using thin styrene plastic in place of paper on gear doors and back part of cowling; made my own wheels out of foam; markings are ink-jet on tissue, or just colored tissue. 6" prop is peck polymers (the kit wheels and prop are Guillows) fwiw |
