This is looking really good! Nice to see this model take shape from ground up!

Still a few little bits of trim/paint to do......

Well done!

Had to make my own spinners (prop hub covers) as I could not locate any on-line of the correct shape and size.

Thanks HW, that's where my colour scheme cam from! (Excuse the English!)

I checked out the RAF color scheme link that Heywooood provided. I like that a lot. It looked great on the Tiger Moth and will look awesome on your Q6. DD would be a good source for your acrylic over dope question. I think he told me once that all his finishes are acrylic over dope.

Thank you BP! This has not been an easy build - lots of mistakes and pitfalls along the way, but satisfying all the same. I'm at final filling, smoothing stage and trying to get to grips with brushing a smooth coat of Acrylic paint on.

Beautiful model, Bob. That cabin is especially nice. I look forward to seeing your paint scheme.

she'll look wonderful in those colors

Yes that was my idea. I like that scheme.... Thank you for your comment!

your model looks terrific in the natural daylight Bob -
heywooood, Comment for image # 4351916 Oct 21 00:06
which paint scheme are you going to apply? - because if those wings and tail surfaces are going to be yellow and that surface is smooth with no sanding required you probably don't need the primer on them. Are you doing the RAF paint scheme? https://i.imgur.com/dVYHWrx.jpg
