Speaking of "ebony"...Keeping your sense of humor is all important while you're in the care of nurses and techs (the ones who clean the bedpans)during your stay in the hospital. When I was getting ready to come home, my black nurse was showing me how to use the "strap on" catheter and how to empty it and the "overnighter" version I was wearing. The overnighter holds more and was nearly full so I said, "I bet I could write my entire name with that." and the nurse looked at me with total incomprehension. I told her that men write their names when they pee. She obviously still thought I was crazy so I told her to ask her husband. I would love to have heard that exchange.:-) |

The prop work here, thus far, was performed on the "Bill Parker" sized belt sander. I may use the tiny one tomorrow...we shall see if it is required. |
