That is a good day - nice stringer of trout Brian. Some beans, potatoes, onions, and a big cast iron frying pan and bacon and bacon grease ... Reminds me of the good ol' days!

The C-130 was, and still is, an amazing aircraft. I worked in the flight surgeons' office at Langley AFB in the mid 1960s where the 4500 Air Base Wing was located. I drove a crash ambulance to the flight line on many occasions when a C-130 was on approach with an engine out. The time I remember best was when one lost two more engines on the way in and made a perfect landing on the one remaining engine.

that's pretty funny, at least they didn't shove you out the back, dd!

This amazing aircraft first flew in 1954! I flew on one once in Viet Nam with no seats so we sat on the floor and used cargo straps for seat belts. They are still flying around here as ECM versions ( electronic counter measures ).

thanks don! I thought it was a bit difficult aligning all the plastic pieces.

Good job, Brian. What do you think of the kit? Somewhere on the "to do " list is a Mosquito, but I'm not sure what I'll use for a pattern.
BriandKilby, Comment for image # 3945507 Oct 17 17:49
thanks lwoodsman, it is more like the plastic wonder, it has the most plastic on a model that I have ever built.

Your "WOODEN WONDER" Mosquito is lookin' pretty good Brian!! Love the hue of that 'medium sea grey' color!
