I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Amazing what can be done in 30 minutes if we learn to loosen up a bit. It`s very easy to get caught up in detail and trying to create a painting etc. of fine precision. I like it.

I made a pecan pie from scratch. The corn was used to make corn syrup.

To you, as well. I used the corn to make whisky!

Thanks! Edward Hopper is a favorite. Clouds are indeed difficult and with fast drying acrylic paint, they're even more so. And add in the low humidity and larger canvas size and....Liquitex makes lots of products to slow drying time and otherwise manipulate the paint but I choose to use it just as it is.

Style ... ? Hm. This looks a bit like Edward Hopper ...? Clouds are very nice. Clouds are difficult to paint.

Thank y'all very much. My doctor asked me yesterday what my style is and it's a question that I never can answer. To say it's just paint seems a bit naive perhaps but that really is how I see it. The very realistic works I've done have been well received, coveted in fact, but I'm aware of my abilities and it's best for me to stay in my comfort zone. My work has always been somewhat abstract in a way but then so have I and I learned a long time ago about being an "artist". The first time I put a painting on public display in a small shopping mall in Caldwell, Idaho, I heard a lady say, "If I had spilled my ink like that in school I would have gotten my hands smacked." :-)
