I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Nice shot. Love watching these celestial bodies moving around!

Conditions were perfect. It didn't get as red as I've seen before but I think that's because we were not quite in the best area, that being the Pacific. Nonetheless, it was an amazing thing to see. And not a sound!

Excellanto!!! I didn't get to see much here in Iowa: cloud cover.

These are quality peel and stick "decals" which I got for the Mosquito. The sheet has sizes for several scales. I'll use these RAF roundels on the fuselage. The test here is to see if the white is opaque enough to prevent the black from showing through.. It is.

thanks for your help david.

david, about how many times should you spray them? I've tried a couple and they were still fragile and I did it a good bit more and they were stiff.

Good information. Thanks.

They are regular water slide decals so spraying them does not affect their removal from the backing. They are all on one sheet and must be cut out.

Are these peel and stick on or slide? I am unsure how the clear coat allow them to be separated from the sheet.

I let the sheet dry for a couple of says and then did a test on foam board I've been using to paint on canvas with. Success!! The decals are now quite strong and can be handled with ease. That's comforting as I have three more Diels kits in the closet:-)

Outside I sprayed on four coats of the clear gloss acrylic and allowed a drying time of at least 30 minutes between coats

The decals in Diels kits are gorgeous but they are very fragile. The instructions say to spray them with a clear acrylic spray to strengthen them so I decided to try it. I understand you do the same thing for ones you make yourself. This is clear gloss which I chose over matte and satin finishes.

Punctuality is a product of my military experience. Much like grammar and spelling, it's both a gift and a curse.

:) As regular as clockwork. I mean, as regular as you reminding me!

Well, well, the snow has melted from the O Drome! :)

It will also take photos in near total darkness, such as this one of the crescent Moon and Venus and all this on fully automatic. They will do much, much more.

A digital camera will take images this close with a regular lens. The secret is to let the computer do the work. That's what the crop feature is for.

Lokkin' spiffy!
