This is all David's work. He's a retired carpenter who said he could build a house but didn't have the patience to build a model. There's 16 in there. |

| I'm not going to get politically correct here...but this looks like a PA-18 Super Cub. Oh yeah the gun :-) ...I'm guessing it is for shooting wolves. The AK government put a bounty on wolves due to (apparent) overpopulation problems. The sighter in the plane would shoot one, the pilot lands on the snow/tundra and one of the pilot/gunner severs the foreleg of the dead animal and collects enough to present it to the warden to collect his bucks. Not my idea of fun. I'm only speaking personally. I'm really more of the fisherman type. |

| Click on the links thing to see my "tutorial" on covering for more details but you basically have the technique correct. You can also seal the frames with dope instead of 50/50 and that's what I normally use. I've found that NITRATE is better for sealing the frames and covering but BUTYRATE was used for years before I learned that. |

| David,I know you must get asked a thousand times but do you:
Seal the wood 50/50 glue and water
Paint surface for tissue with NITRATE dope
Apply tissue wet
Go over frame with NITRATE dope whilst wet |
