I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Same weathering brew used here.

I have been to the engine and air screw rodeo a number of times. I always mentioned drapes for my cockpits but never actually made a pair. Yours are stunning😜

I see you succeeded where I failed. I tried repeatedly to make the exhausts first from beaten copper wire and then from copper tubing. I like yours better. I like your prop too.

Biplane guy, I thought I had built a LeRhone a while back, it seems that I did!

Biplane guy seeing your Lehrone brought me back to days gone by. I thought I had built one!

Black bear here cloned a ladder to a tree stand, pulled a corn feeder onto the stand, ate the corn and disassembled the feeder! I have the event on a trail camera but forgot my laptop to view the chip.

Looks like I read posting dates wrong. Not sure if it's the eyes or the brain that's aging too fast. I'm impressed that you could squat. I've left that one alone. Put out the trail cam today though.

Don C. I had bilateral knee replacement three years past. The procedure was performed after I finished Helmet Head's trplane. After three years of using the titanium knees they seem to be wearing out. Walking is ok but getting up from low seats, bending and squatting are a painful chore. I do not intend on ever having the replacements replaced

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, John. I got one of those knees in 2013 and understand the problem. Been holding off on the left one, but come Pearl Harbor Day it's happening. Very nice plane, but an unkempt name for it's pilot.

Sky. Poly span. Goggle it. I purchased enough for a lifetime but forgot where. My mind has major case of CRS!!! Reference materials. I purchase books about the aeroplane thru Amazon. BTW three years since this build. Finished prior to the titanium knees. After three years the knees are starting to fail. I will not go they that procedure again. Get me a wheelchair!

John, this is Sky of the PT-17. I've watched all of your builds with interest & curious about just two things:1) where can you buy polyspan? For some reason my hobby store doesn't stock it, nor does he know where/anything about it & 2) noticed you have very impressive access to documentation. By any chance do you share or know where I can obtain such drawings/detailed photos? -Sky
