Mock-up. This is when I get my second wind on a project.
simonlschmitz, Image # 2254603 May 11 15:53

Fits good. Might use magnets to hold it down like I've seen some other guys do on this site.

Fuselage with access panel cut out.

If it behaves like the real thing then take it as a complement. Here is a list of some of those who have gone before: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=827861

Just makes it exciting.

The landing gear are quite narrow and could live up the the 109's reputation for rough takeoffs and landings.
simonlschmitz, Image # 2184425 Mar 11 07:51

I still have to find some wheels that fit better. The wheel axels have to be twisted so they trac parallel to the fuselage.

Landing gear and retracts are intalled. They operate very smooth, much better than my previous builds.

1/16 Guillow's Bf 109: I'm starting my third guillows conversion. I will try to give include retractable landing gear on the Bf 109 with the smaller wing span. Not sure if this one will fly but it should be fun to try.
