Well, it is an easy mistake to make.

I promise to be very careful!

Just be sure you don't have the roundrels facing the wrong way.

AERO-WERKES does not provide decals but does provide national insignias that can be printed and cut out and glued in place.

The comercial printer I use was able to flop the black elephant for me.

I found a color painting of a Spad 7 flown by Lt Frederic Loiseau of Escadrille 561 with a black elephant emblem. However one has white nose and another drawing has a yellow nose. More research may solve the problem.

The exhausts are made of plastic tubes and balsa.

A section of plastic window screen looks very realistic and scale.

The top wing is not yet fitted.

Some test fitting. The forward section is metal on the real aircraft so I covered it is 1/32 sheet.

A print wood I.D. diagram is also provided.

Guillow plans are provided on a disc that can be printed at most copy shops.

These SRKs provide excellent quality balsa print wood, although no plastic parts and the consumer must supply their own strip wood.

I've always liked the WW1 Spad fighter so when I decided to build some WW1 aircraft the Spad 7 was my first choice. Unfortunately the (near) 1/20th scale series by Guillows was long out of production and while you can find them on e-bay they are expensive. However, AERO-WERKES offers a series of Short Run Kits (SRK) at excellent prices.
