I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

I actually do very little masking unless canopy needs to be installed b-4 painting and then I use small peices of blue painters masking tape. I usually paint frames freehand. I do not install canopy until after I have finished painting model. Very few kits require canopy installation until final step.

You can see how I do them by clicking on the build thread for my B-29.

Unfortunately I am leaving for London, England in a few days and will be gone for several weeks. Besides I think DD or Poppy would be the best person for doing a tutorial on masking a canopy than myself. They both have far more experience than myself.

Lookin' good!

Jerry, do you think you or someone reading this could give us less experienced builders some pointers on taping, masking and painting canopy lines? Im pretty much horrible at this and could use a few pointers. Thanks man!

I tried making pipes for my Mustang using this method...needless to say yours turned out MUCH nicer than my attempt since I ended up going with the vacu-formed exhaust provided. Love the intake also.

Future provides a glossy base for applying decals + i used bits and pieces from five different sheets> three after market sheets and two old left over kit sheets

The difference is in the details....worth the effort!

The early 109 exhausts were simple, but tedious to make. Cutting out each exhaust pipe from plastic tubing, painting them and then gluing them to a piece of black painted paper, then gluing the paper to the nose took some time.

Out of the paint shop and with a coat of Future it is ready for the decals to be added.
