This is the Sig "Customaire" 20" biplane kit # FF-26 $24.50 (no exact scale as it was not a real plane) - but reminiscent of the classic WACO cabin biplanes of the 1930's.

James - that's a great article on the Ecroupe "Seacooupe" floats!

This kit has floats, not skis.

This is the "narrow-waisted" Fleet 80 "CANUCK". iT had a 34 foot Wingspan and was 22 feet long, with a delicate under camber on the lower fuse. It had five basic instruments and a compass. It had a very roomy 40" wide cockpit, which was remarkable for its day. It had two seats side by side and dual control sticks for training. It was a "CULT" aircraft with a vintage 1946 look. It was a tough, rugged, and exceptionally roomy, and forgiving, 2-seater.

THIS PIC SAYS IT ALL !! A moonlit winter flight in a ski-equipped Noorduyn "NORSEMAN" to a remote wilderness cabin at the far end of the lake. You can see the smoke coming from the woodstove chimney, and the faint yellow-orange of the windows, and the snow covered roof.
