I found this beautiful color rendering on Fideler's Green. Obviously I did not choose the Ascender for its colorfulnes, the unusual shape and the fact that it was built and flew intrigues me and should be a fun build.

While researching the Ascender I found these plans from Model Airplane News, August, 1948. These plans and a block of balsa were supposed to get you a scale model of the Ascender.
