I glued the armor plate pattern from the kit to a piece of cardstock to strengthen it and allow the bend.

The rudder is just barely taped on...Spanish military aircraft still have the same black X on a white background, unless painted in a low visibility scheme.

The book Luftwaffe's Baptism of Fire contains these decals in 3 sizes, 1/72, 1/48, and 1/32. For the 1/16 109 I doubled the size of the 1/32 set.
