| You probably can't tell to well by looking at the photo but you can probably see the build up at the end of the flap. This stuff goes on fairly thick too. Basically Im going to regroup, sand, touch up the white, then see what to do about clear coat. I've come too far to screw up and end it now. |

| For those of you who wanted to know how I was doing the checker tail pattern. I criss crossed the tape leaving several squares to be painted. I will do the same thing again, this time covering up the squares I already painted. |

| This will be the final scheme. P-51 "Miss Suzi Q" was owned by a pilot named Ken Burnstine. He used to compete with it at the Reno air races in the 70's. In 1976, while flying over the race coarse he attempted a Split S maneuver. Unfortunately his misjudged the required altitude and bought the farm on the second roll. |
