The Gumster managed to assemble the four pulleys that direct the aileron control cables over the upper and lower wing surfaces. Tomorrow he must assemble four slightly larger pulleys that mount slightly below the wing surfaces directing force from the ailerons to the wing mounted pulleys. He is on hos own tomorrow AM as I am off to the doctor for my annual physical examination. Looking forward or rearward to an unpleasant experience!

The BE 12a has visible pulleys that guide the aileron control cables, with their directional force, over the top surface of the upper wing and lower surface of the lower wing. In order for the ailerons to function the fabrication of 8 small pulleys is required. Here is the prototype that Gumby fabricated. Seven more pulleys are required.

There are some who missed seeing Gumby in yesterday’s posting. I was sure to include him in today’s activities. Gumby started his day with some engine maintenance.

The “Twins” should mount up nicely when their mount is fully fabricated.
