I roughed out two rings from ply with a saw, glued them in place and then sanded them to the proper shape....made lots of saw dust!

The Cleveland plan and the actual plane variants vary a bit in the shape of the front of the cowl. In order to be closer to scale a couple of rings of thin ply were added.

The Corsair is ready for her maiden, AUW is 53 grams. I will add more detail after it has flown. I have two seperate sources that say the wing area and weight are a good match to the motor, battery, and prop, but the thrust just seems weak to me.
