Canopy frame using my tried and trusted "can't be bothered painting the fiddly bits so just use strips of electrical tape" method. Rather helpful in this case that I'm making a blue Hurricane. I do have to wonder whether Guillow's are all that familiar with the front of a Hurricane canopy though.

Since I'll need blue tissue paper for the Cherokee anyway I think I'll make this one up as G-AMAU. Alternately I could make it as G-AFKX, a Hawker testbed painted silver.
