| I was operating well within the limits of a quality brand ESC so I was a little disappointed that it failed. My first thought was that I had overloaded the BEC, but it looks to me like at least one of these motor FETs got very hot. |

| This is what an ESC failure looks like. I had finally got it trimmed out pretty well and was getting a good feel for the controls and was thinking it was time for pictures when the motor shut off and the controls went dead. |
