The S.E. 5 is (finally) done. Got just a couple of accessories to add but essentially, the model is complete. Julinick and Jgood, thank you both. This model is dedicated to everyone here on the VA. The span is 24" which makes the model about 1/14th in scale. Yes, it's a Guillow's kit.

You can just make out the extra fuel lines going into and exiting the forward cabane struts.

Adding overflow fuel line (copper) and coolant (black). Decided a bit of artistic "bling" for the copper colored fuel line throughout the model.

Adding small curved tubing to the exhaust. Details and more details seem to pop up just when I thought there couldn't be any more.

Guys: I purposely used this picture of the tree as seen in its glory during the Fall season so call to your attention, that the great Bob Hoover just passed away. I've had a chance to meet him several times and each time, he's always been gracious and easily approachable. He has truly "..Slipped the surely bonds of earth..."
