The only kit wood I've used on the wings or tail was the leading edge of the wing. The theory is for a bit of strength when it undoubtedly plummets to the earth and because its in front of the C of G for a bit of extra nose weight. Sarcasm aside, the whole thing feels pretty light compared to the FW190 at the same point so I'm hopefully going in the right direction.
