Left side view. Black on the decals is not as dark as I would like.

Beautiful job. Besides the lack of variety of aircraft types, the biggest problem our hobby has is the lack of good quality decals. surely a manufacturer like Diels who does a constant 1/24 scale series could couple with 1/24th scale plastic people and do some decals.

Steve, lovely model. jerry, have you tried the decal making kits you can get for inkjet printers? You can create your own with these, from any artwork you choose. A copy of photoshop (or similar) helps in creating the images.

I've not looked into decals generated on the computer yet, but I intend to when I get back to the States. I still think it could be a source of revenue for someone like Dave Diels if both the 1/24th FF and 1/24th plastic market can be reached.

These decals are printed by an inkjet onto full sheet label paper. Maybe real decal paper would give a better result.

I created my Dr.1 decal by printing directly onto Guillows tissue. That was an exercise in frustration!
