I've done a few ships in my spare time. Perhaps a section or area for members to display their other interests. Not making a big deal of it, but just a place to put a picture or two of finished items rather than a build seqence.

I've been thinking about something like this, so we could add plastic model kits too. I'll look into it this weekend...

Be careful that plastic modelers don't take over, because the are legion, besides there are plenty of plastic sites. I use plastic sites all the time for color reference.

I agree with Jerry about the plastic sites. I am unsure of boat sites, but they be be numerous also as I know many avid boatbuilders who have never built a model plane of any kind.

The "Tip of the Hat" to ALL modelers, BUT, at the risk of offending someone, my vote is to keep V/A exculsively as is.

In my humble opinion, when one builds a plastic plane, you assemble it. Build it from wood...this is a build!

James... Please let the plastic assembly line stay where they are!

OK, no worries, no other categories then! I like it as it is anyway. :)

James, do you mean to set up an area for display of other members hobbies as long as they are wood or just no other hobbies period?
