| Don C | 26-May-20 12:01 | | Beautiful. You better put this one in a glass case.

| bobgood | 26-May-20 13:03 | | I love your work here and the high detailing too, sorry to admit that I'm puzzled by the "Apparently" broken-off fin?
I have reviewed the whole set of pics to try to answer this for me but to no avail! |
| edtherenderman | 26-May-20 13:26 | | The Hannover had an unusual biplane horizontal stabilizer. There is another stabilizer and elevator mounted on top of the fin. The made a smaller tail surface for the rear gunner to shoot around. I don't have it installed yet, so it doesn't appear in these pictures. |
| bobgood | 26-May-20 15:38 | | ...thank you. That's a new aircraft for me, nice to learn about that. |
| edtherenderman | 26-May-20 16:34 | | Yah, not a common subject for WWI aircraft. Seems like it has a pretty good operational history, but was overshadowed by the Rumpler, Roland and Halberstadt observation aircraft. And everyone loves the fighters, not the two seaters! |
