| Don C | 11-Oct-20 12:07 | | Cockpits completed. Or this is where I stop adding stuff. |
| BriandKilby | 12-Oct-20 09:42 | | like the cockpit detail, don! |
| edbecky | 12-Oct-20 09:58 | | Looks good. What's the seat belts and buckles made of? |
| Don C | 12-Oct-20 11:35 | | Thanks. The seat belts are a narrow ribbon right of the shelf at JoAnne's and the buckles are a soft beading wire from there also. Now I just have to find something for the padding around the edges of the cockpit. |
| edtherenderman | 12-Oct-20 15:07 | | Don, what I found worked well for combing was the paper stick from tootsie pops, or q-tips. They are flexible enough to bend around most corners, and will crinkle a bit on the inside radius, looking like leather. Just a thought. |
| edbecky | 13-Oct-20 08:55 | | I use #12 electrical house wire. Slit with razor knife and strip out copper. Someone on this site used the stitched binding of an old purse. |
| Don C | 13-Oct-20 12:01 | | Thanks Ed (& Ed). |
