| LASTWOODSMAN | 26-Oct-17 21:04 | | That is a good day - nice stringer of trout Brian. Some beans, potatoes, onions, and a big cast iron frying pan and bacon and bacon grease ... Reminds me of the good ol' days! |

| Don C | 28-Oct-17 10:34 | | spinner of live bait? |
| BriandKilby | 28-Oct-17 10:54 | | powerbait don, I caught some on a fly rod a couple years ago, that was probably the most fun I've had catching trout. |
| Don C | 29-Oct-17 20:52 | | Agreed. Some of the most fun I've had fishing was with a fly rod - walleye. |
| LASTWOODSMAN | 02-Nov-17 11:09 | | Brian - my best day ever - 1981 - first day guiding for Lakers on the big water of Lac Seul out of Moosehorn Lodge in Sioux Lookout, North Western Ontario. Trolling with little blue cleos - guiding ol' Jean and Egbert Bolhuis. We rolled back into camp with a 43 pound stringer of Lake Trout 12, 11, 9, 6, and 5 lbs, to the astonishment of the other Indian guides, and I was hired full time on the spot by the Lodge owner. |
| BriandKilby | 02-Nov-17 11:36 | | cool! |
