Sadly the cowling effort I made was subpar and I’ll be sanding it down. Fortunately I have plenty of time to rework it as I have run short on red paint and two of the Callie Graphics decals need to be reproduced. |

| heywooood | 26-Apr-20 22:31 | | Thanks Ed. I have an update on the cowl. I was able to strip it down and resurface it - I have it back to the white primer and ready to apply color. Tomorrow I’ll get the ‘racing white’ onto it and then I think I’ll try just masking and brush painting it or spraying on the last of the red and brushing on the marigold stripes. I hope it works - I really like the look of this cowling on the real deal! |
