With the fairings covering the wing root attachment, I would assume no doubling of the wing root former was required prior to SS attachment ala B-24 and B-29. I was thinking about the Mossie and since no fairings are req'd, do you think an extra 1/16" former should be applied or just shape the stringers to the top of wing root former edge? Don't want covering catastrophies later with between stringer sagging. I sure you know what I mean. |
