| mhempel | 19-Jun-07 21:02 | | I drilled a hole in a 1/8 by 1/16 stringer that I added to give the tail a little more shape and then slipped a piece of wire throgh the hole and carefully bent it into kind of a lopsided U shape. One end of the U is about 1/4 inch and the other end is long enough to span the width of the wheel well. I can reach in with a pencil and rotate the wire when I want to raise or lower the wheel, and then rotate it back into position to lock the wheel up or down. I'll try to post a photo when I get into work tomorrow. |
