| Ed Clark | 12-May-08 17:39 | | Poppy, since Micro Fill isn't available do you have a suggestion for a substitute. Or anyone else that might be looking for the product. Thanks |
| John M Oshust | 12-May-08 18:16 | | Ed...I am using Elmer's wood fill on the Corsair....works like micro fill but is cheaper! |
| Abby Marie | 12-May-08 18:20 | | I used to use talc powder in dope as a filler. |
| Barnstormer | 12-May-08 18:56 | | Hey Ed, I used a light weight spackle from my local home center on my P-40, it worked well, I think it may have taken alittle more priming and sanding to get the smooth finish but I think over all the results were good. You just have to find what works for you. |
| Creosotewind | 14-May-08 11:46 | | Poppy, with the undercuts from the Malcolm hood, will there be any problem releasing the vac plastic from the mold? |
| SteveM | 14-May-08 12:46 | | The only issue I can see from the pictures is the transition from the bubble to the flatter front area. The plastic might not fully suck down into it, resulting in a smoother than intended transition between the two areas. |
