| David Duckett | 19-Oct-19 15:15 | | *pretty🙄 I believe they must have been painted at several locations using standard Air Force guidelines which may or may not have been a hot item, considering how many aircraft were involved. I've noticed a lot of variation in different kits and in some cases the schemes depicted are just simply wrong. There are many photos on the internet so all sources give a more realistic view of how they were painted. Plus there's a real one on the base a few miles from here:-) |

I've got a couple of WW1 planes lined up right now, but I'm itching to do a WW2 aircraft so I can do the smooth surface technique. The in-fill process you guys are using is so different than the planking/sheeting I've used in R/C. Can't wait to try it! |
