| jerry campbell | 14-Apr-14 12:57 | | Over the years I have built many plastic models of the Fw 190 “Wurger” (Butcher Bird)and its many. I decided to do Faber’s Fw 190A-3 in 1/24th scale using the Guillows 502 kit, which is a good kit and with some added detail and a few minor corrections can be turned into an excellent Fw 190A-1,2,3,4 and with a little more work can be turned into the Fw 190A-5,6,7,8,9 as well as the F and G variants. It just takes some research and a little elbow grease. |

| jerry campbell | 14-Apr-14 14:48 | | Yes, and I want to thank you and Dave for all the help. |
| David Duckett | 14-Apr-14 14:55 | | Glad you got it! |
| jerry campbell | 14-Apr-14 14:56 | | By the way the Ta 152 is the final development of the Fw 190. The kit is a Ta 152H-1 pressurized high altitude fighter, but should be able to be converted to the Ta 152C standard fighter. |

| BriandKilby | 14-Apr-14 16:11 | | jerry, was the ta-152 a variant of the d-9? |
| jerry campbell | 14-Apr-14 17:33 | | Brian, yes and no, the Ta was a further development of the Fw 190 and many components of the D-9 were used, but I don't think it would be called a further development of the D-9.
Many aviation authorities have claimed that the Ta 152H-1 was the finest fighter of WW2. |
