| BugEater | 15-Apr-07 23:46 | | first attempt at tissuing, the nose is a little wrinkled, as are the two sections aft of the cockpit. |
| JohnG. | 16-Apr-07 09:34 | | Sometimes a bit of saliva (yes, spit)directly on a troublesome wrinkle will help. |

You may get some ideas! Is my memory correct, this is the plane of the "Flying Tigers" |
| flyguy172 | 16-Apr-07 17:52 | | Yup, the P-40 WarHawk plane of the FlyingTigers. The original FlyingTigers WarHawks had China insignia on them because America had not fully entered the war yet. Those P-40’s were flown by U.S. fighter Pilots who volunteered to fly for China. At least that’s what I remember. Enough with the history lesson :p. Two questions first, did you cover it using the dry or wet method, and two, did you use the 50/50 glue/water mix or did you use dope? It’s a nice looking model. |
| John M Oshust | 16-Apr-07 20:38 | | P-40 at smallflying arts is not mine (I wish)! All I remember about the skin was that it was chalked paper and the plane was very attractive. |
| Xanadu | 16-Apr-07 21:50 | | For a first try its a very good job! |
| BugEater | 16-Apr-07 23:58 | | dry method, with about 60/40 water glue. and i've just completed the wings, so i'll get pics of that up next |
