| Your next project? If so, kit or scratch?

| It’s the big Guillow kit. Should be here by next week. Probably get the markings for this exact bird - “little demon” - from Callie Graphics.. |

| Not sure if I want to build this one before or after the Boeing F4B-4.
Inspiration for the P47 comes from an interesting series of videos I will link here shortly. A series of 6 or 7 vids related to the US daylight bombing campaign and the P47’s effective combat range. |

| There is a complete series of videos by this researcher on all aspects of the P47 fighter aircraft but THIS one was of particular interest to me..

| Poppy made a "kit bash" of the Guillow's kit a few years back. Look up his hanger for some insights to the challenges he overcame. His was a first class build and won some awards |

| Poppy’s build was a big factor in my decision to build this warbird in the razorback configuration. |

| I've had this kit in my closet for about 10 years now. Got a 70's vintage kit from ebay. Great shape except the decals which I wouldn't use anyway. The P-47 is another one of my favorite warbirds. Every once in a while I pull this kit out and look at it. I always love the Guillows plan sheets. They are a work of technical art. Can't wait to see the results of the build! |
