| Skyediamonds1985 | 24-Jan-16 16:48 | | Pfinn, looks great. Never hurts to be on the cautious side and add a bit of reinforcement. The undersides of the ailerons are truly a work of art. Excellent way to clear them from the wings. Did this show on the plans? On the real aircraft? I remembered taking a bunch of photos of the replica that was on display at the EAA fly-in awhile back, but can't recall taking or viewing its undersides. |
| pfinn | 25-Jan-16 00:17 | | The ailerons were built per plan although I added the diagonal cross bracing. I enlarged the servo bays since I purchased just slightly larger servos (HS65 as apposed the recommended HS55) at the AMA show here in Southern California. |
